For New Year, Borjomi wanted to create a warm and familiar story rooted in a shared Georgian memory, avoiding traditional holiday formulas.
The Kukushka train was part of Borjomi’s collective memory. We brought it back as a symbol of transition and renewal, turning a familiar journey into a moment that carried people from one year into the next.
The film focused on mood and small human details rather than explanation, letting magic appear naturally. Kukushka was shown as a moving celebration that connected friends and carried them together toward the snowy Borjomi forests.
